Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is the fifth game in the series of fighting games of the same name, which offers a different story with other heroes. Quan Chi escaped from Scorpion using the portal of the Underworld, where he accidentally discovers the old tomb of King Onaga. Quan realizes that he has the opportunity to become invincible. To resurrect the army, the souls of the killed warriors must be placed in mummies, which he does together with Shang Tsung, who promises to share power with him. Together they create the Deadly Alliance, and first deal with their enemies, where the first in line is Emperor Shao Kahn. The protagonists are now able to move between three dimensions, and also received 3 distinctive combat styles - 2 hand-to-hand and 1 using weapons, and combo attacks with transitions between them. There are fewer special moves, finishing moves are limited to one fatality, and there is no running. Obstacles in the form of columns and statues have been added to the arenas, and there is also a Crypt, in which various bonuses are available. The Conquest mode offers to complete missions for different heroes, for which coins are awarded.
